April is soldiering on. She’s definitely feeling more effects from the chemo — more of the nose bleeds and other little annoyances such as that — but her attitude really hasn’t changed much at all. April went in to Dr. Gharavi’s office today for a shot of Neulasta to boost her white blood cell levels. No shot is needed yet for her red blood cell count. She was told by the nurse that it would make her sore with the same kind of aches and pains as you’d expect when [...]

We’re coming up on the 3rd dose in the first cycle of April’s chemotherapy. It was supposed to be today, but the Dr.’s office changed it to tomorrow – probably because they were over-booked last Thursday, which made April have to wait for over 2 hours before they got started with her.
